Lucy Wightman....

My first serious interest in Photography was last year (2007) when my sister married at the Sketchley Grange Hotel. She hired two Photographers who were just amazing. They were so friendly and wanted to be there, which made me think they must really enjoy it.

So after that I enquired what type of Camera would be best for personal use, my first camera was a Fuji Film which did me well for the first few months. Then I decided I wanted to do abit more professional such as weddings, so I purchased a Canon 400D that I love so much.

I got into Wedding Photography by contacting Laura Wright through a Photography jobs website where I applied to be her assisant. Thankfully she chose me!! I hope to learn and gain many skills while working with Laura.

We both shot our first Church wedding in June which was exciting but scary, you can find photos I took from the wedding in my Wedding Gallery.
