My interest in photography took on a serious
note whilst attending my sister's wedding in 2007. She had hired two Photographers for the event who were just amazing. They were both very friendly and helpful, and obviously took such a delight in their work, that itmade me more determined to take my hobby further.
It wasn't long then before I decided on a new camera to enable me to obtain better results. I chose to use a Fuji Fine Pix S5700, but, really wanting to try my hand at weddings venues and the like, I then replaced it with a Canon 400D, which better suited my needs.
I furthermore contacted a professional Photographer by the name of Laura Wright, who, through a Photography jobs website was advertising for an assistant. I naturally applied and was overjoyed when she chose me. I want to learn all I possibly can about photography, and gain many skills on the subject. I first assisted with a Church wedding in June 2008, which was very exciting, albeit rather scary.
